HZDS: Future

There was a reason Zeke wasn't so great technology. He always stuck to his knives and old revolvers back when he was a soldier. Cursing silently to himself, he played with the small device he had in his hands, trying to figure out the settings and remember all the codes he was meant to memorize within a few nights. He wasn't an experienced hacker, and he knew he never would be. How the hell do hackers even know all this stuff? Looking around quickly, he was getting jittery, worried that someone could find him, especially since he just invaded the backdoor of some store, trying to hack for information about some important object that all Hazardous members were meant to search for. The device made a barely audible beep, and he sighed in relief, pressing a few more buttons before plugging it carefully into the main computer of the shop manager. The blue holograms resulted in a faint blue light washing itself over Zeke's face. This future stuff didn't cease to amaze him, despite how much of a traditionalist he had thought himself to be. It took a few seconds to decode the password, but after that was the easier bit, even though it was to be done in haste. He did a complete search, typing in a few more codes to access more hidden files, but found nothing related to the object they were looking for. Disappointed, he got up and pulled his bag over his shoulder before reaching to unplug his device and switch everything off, but a folder name caught his eye and he touched that part of the hologram, which revealed to be an employee list. He smiled to himself when he spotted a familiar face and he proceeded to shut everything down, thinking about how much of a coincidence this could be. He went back out and entered through the main gate. A motor repair shop, who knew? Trying to keep himself from grinning widely (and maybe creepily) he raised his hand in a wave, hoping he'd get the attention of a certain zebra-like individual.
